"Journey of Whales" (Original Poem)

Harrowing, hollow echo through darkest depths

Across heart and soul bridges abysmal breadth

Under leagues and fathoms pierces mournful cry

Nether giants drift, resonate, amplify

Their plaintive, poignant, melancholic refrains

Into vast, stygian, tenebrous domains

Navigate solemn sojourns, routes of twilight

Gracefully glide in melodic marine flight

~

I know it's been a long time since I've posted. Life got hectic. Yet, today I found a moment of time to write, while listening to whale sounds (they help me focus on studying), and I wrote a poem about them. This is an acrostic poem, which means that the first letter of each line makes a word, when put together.
